"You have stolen my heart…" She murmured across the ducky meadow. A breeze whispers through the night And caresses thoughts, but none are the cure. She falls to the ground on satin of royal purple And cries teardrops of dew. She stares up at the stars as they reflect her cheeks of dew And wonders when she was consumed by her heart. Memories collide, and she recalls; when he gave her lilacs of purple. That day was the beginning of forever in a meadow For on that fateful day she had her cure And spent every minute with him until well into the night. Even now, she remembers that moonlit night And how he said her eyes sparkled

Once there was a fiery red phoenix That soared up high in the sky on warm airs Side by side with its creator Helix As they traveled the world on steady flares This phoenix healed anyone with just tears and its feathers were said to be magic and so it was for many many years Until Helix died and all was tragic The bird was left alone and desolate Living an empty life full of sorrow Making its plumage dim to black scarlet Wishing for a swift death on the morrow It is said that this poor creature still lives Waiting for cruel death to come and forgive

Each heart rises and falls with a swift breath Easily extinguished by a cold breeze which results in a quick and painful death for the fire inside that begs and pleas This warmth combats and battles the cruel ice To reign supreme in the hearts of many Although this cold whispers and entices Truth and love cast out bad thoughts of any Some succumb to these seductive ice thoughts While others embrace their fellow fire and another group is tied up in knots because of two entities desire When the dawn of man began it was so and it will end with this very duo

Look at the way her face crumbles like sand she hurriedly tries to cover it up with her bright hair that is made of silk strands while her wet tears fall into a teacup The once beautiful face of hers is gone fluttering away like a butterfly in the newly arisen dusky dawn making her hopes fade with a silent sigh She will never experience a touch, worthy of her pure and innocent heart as well as never being loved as much as she should have been from the very start Hopefully one day she will find someone otherwise she will be over and done

New Year + Resolution.

First off, I would like to apologize to everyone for not being on the site for months on end. I know I'm not a big shot on here, but I feel bad for not posting anything for all these months. School is a lot more time-consuming this year than any other year before and I have a hard time trying to balance everything in my life as it is. So, I have decided at this very second that my New Year's resolution is to post all my work that I do and to definitely write more! So far, I haven't because of time and because I am really a perfectionist when it comes to writing. I don't like showing people something that isn't finished, at least in my eyes.

Why hello there, friends! :b0x0rz: I hope everyone is having a wonderful life (: First, I would like to say thank you very very much for over a 1,000 page views!!! :D I was ecstatic to see that! I hope someday to get like 5,000...or even one million! :XD: My life has been turning out well if I do say so myself. :w00t!: I have found a pretty amazing man that is everything and more I have ever wanted :heart: I have been working and making some money! [Even though I don't really care for the job..^^;] And I have been on summer vacation, so that equals nice weather, sleeping in, and  summer love! ;D :sun: This is probably why summer is my favor

Oh my goodness.... :omfg: One of my poems is getting published!!!!!!!! :w00t: I literally jumped around and such when I got the card in the mail saying it. :blushes: The one that is getting published, is Stances of Nature The website I entered it into, was www.poeticpower.com and they have three contests a year. They also have an essay contest which I think is cool and unique but I would probably never enter it myself lol My poem will be published in an anthology of poetry book with a lot of other students :) The agency or company that does this is Creative Communications FYI lol I'm really hoping that I get voted into the top ten poet
